  • Producer - ZIQI

    Ziqi Gao is a producer and writer who obtained her BFA degree in the School of Visual Arts in New York and currently studies in AFI conservatory producing program. With the experience of creating projects ranging from narrative content, commercials, and animations in both US and China, Ziqi keeps looking for unique voices internationally. Her work, BEYOND EXPRESSION, was the award winner in the NEW ERA film festival and Los Angeles Indie Short Film Festival. Ziqi has worked at the Producers Guild of America East office and several production companies in Beijing, such as Zhao Bro’s Picture.

  • Writer & Director - PEIQI

    Peiqi writes and directs stories about women combining social commentary with absurdism and thriller elements. She was born in Suzhou, China, and studied in Australia, Czech and the U.S. She graduated from Emerson College focused on Film, Anthropology, and Post- Colonial Studies, and worked for industry- leading Film production companies, commercial and trailer houses such as FilmNation, Partizan, and A.V. Squad, before pursing her MFA degree in Directing at AFI.

    Her works have been screened internationally, including L.A. shorts International Film Festival, Chinese American Film Festival, and IFF Boston. She was a recipient of the Andrea Montoni Film Catalyst Fund.

  • Cinematographer - TIANYI

    Tianyi Liu is an award-winning cinematographer and colorist from Beijing, China, and currently studying cinematography at the AFI. He has worked in leading company AbleCine in New York as a prep technician for SNL. As an associate member of the Society of Camera Operators, he is also a Steadicam operator, and an ARRI certified Trinity technician.

  • Production Designer - YARA

    Ye”Yara” Wang’s is a production designer graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design, with a BFA degree in production design and art direction. Mastering the skills for genre film design, she has build world for over twenty short film range from Chinese period piece to American science fiction. She is currently enrolled in the Production Design program at AFI.

  • Production Designer - EJ

    Yijie "EJ" Li graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with BFA in Industrial Design and pursuing his MFA in Production Design at the AFI Conservatory. He has production designed and art-directed multiple award- winning short films. His work, GRANDMA'S HOUSE, has been selected to over ten festivals, including Brooklyn Film Festival, and screened in FIRST, one of the most influential film festivals in China.

  • Editor - CHRISTINE

    Christine Ho obtained her BA in Art from UC Berkeley in 2018. Her artworks focus on the human condition, family, and children in Taiwanese culture and are highly praised for their sensibility to human emotion. Christine is currently obtaining her MFA at the American Film Institute (AFI) with an emphasis on editing. She edited numerous projects, including but not limited to narrative short films. She also assistant-edited feature films such as Garage Sale Killer and A Holiday Chance, as well as dramatic series such as Angel.
